amanda hall is a contempory artist with emphasis on colour and
expressionism, bold figures suggesting movement and space, also figures in subdued poses on muted foggy backgrounds.

originally from bath, amanda studied ceramics, sculpture and watercolour painting whilst living in the bay area california.
on moving to chicago started to exhibit and progressed to oils.

womens figures with exaggerated curves lead to the separation of the torso, in strong expressive colours.

on moving to the cote d'azur
painted a new series of watercolour nudes and inspired by the tropical plants in her garden painted the lotus plants, ultimately fusing the two, nudes in the lotus pond.
